PawsFinsAndShells uses TikTok’s API to connect our own TikTok account (@WhiskaWaves) and manage the pet care video content we publish there.
We use two TikTok products as part of this integration.
Login Kit lets our team securely connect and verify our own TikTok account. This confirms basic profile information (display name, avatar) so we know we’re publishing to the right account.
Content Posting API lets us upload and publish video content to that account as part of our regular content workflow, covering practical pet care topics for dogs, cats, aquarium fish, and turtles.
This integration is used internally by our team to manage our own TikTok presence. It is not a public login feature for site visitors, and no TikTok account information from anyone other than PawsFinsAndShells is accessed or stored.
